Our nylon and elastane fabric portfolio covers a wide spectrum of weights, finishes and stretch levels engineered for activewear, swimwear, leggings, shapewear, intimates and fashion apparel. Available in matte, satin, brushed, ribbed and printed options, each construction is customizable in elastane percentage, GSM, width and color to match your specification. With four-way stretch, excellent recovery and smooth compression, our nylon and elastane fabric supports both performance and comfort. Request free samples and technical data sheets today.
Nylon and elastane fabric succeeds because its two components compensate for each other's weaknesses. Nylon contributes tensile strength, abrasion resistance, a smooth lustrous surface and excellent dye affinity. Elastane, also known as spandex, delivers exceptional stretch and recovery, allowing garments to move with the body and return to shape. The ratio matters: higher elastane content increases stretch and compression, while higher nylon content improves durability and opacity. Buyers should evaluate fabric by key performance indicators—stretch percentage, recovery rate, shrinkage after washing, pilling resistance, colorfastness to light and perspiration, and chlorine resistance for swimwear. Our engineers work with each client to select the optimal nylon and elastane fabric construction for the end use, balancing cost, hand feel and performance. Because we control knitting, dyeing, printing and finishing in-house, we can adjust these variables quickly and repeatably.
